Garden by The Bay - Spore

Gardens by the Bay is a park spanning 101 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.
Gardens by the Bay is an integral part of a strategy by the Singapore government to transform Singapore from a "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden". The stated aim is to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city.

  •  Bay Central Garden
Bay Central Garden will act as a link between Bay South and Bay East Gardens. It stands at 15 hectares (37 acres) with a 3-kilometre (1.9 mi) waterfront promenade that allows for scenic walks stretching from the city centre to the east of Singapore. More future developments of Bay Central Garden are coming in the next few years.
  • Bay East Garden
Bay East Garden is 32 hectares (79 acres) in size and it has a 2-kilometre (1.2 mi) promenade frontage that embroiders the Marina Reservoir.. An interim park was developed at Bay East Garden in support of the 2010 Youth Summer Olympics. The first phase of the garden was opened to the public in October 2011, allowing alternate access to the Marina Barrage.

Designed as a series of large tropical leaf-shaped gardens, each with its own specific landscaping design, character and theme. There will be five water inlets aligned with the prevailing wind direction, maximizing and extending the shoreline while allowing wind and water to penetrate the site to help cool areas of activity around them. Bay East Garden will provide visitors with an unobstructed view of the city skyline. More future developments of Bay East Garden will be based on the theme of water.

  • Bay South Garden
Bay South Garden eventually completed and opened to the public on June 29, 2012. It is the largest of the three gardens at 54 hectares (130 acres) and aims to showcase the best of Tropical Horticulture and garden artistry.
The overall concept of its master plan draws inspiration from an Orchid as it is representative of the tropics and of Singapore, being the country's national flower, the Vanda 'Miss Joaquim'. The orchid takes root at the waterfront (conservatories), while the leaves (landforms), shoots (paths, roads and linkways) and secondary roots (water, energy and communication lines) then form an integrated network with blooms (theme gardens and supertrees) at key intersections.

and many more cool features. Come and Prove it!

BRACES!

So, last Thursday, I decided to wear braces. I dont have any problem with my teeth, but the problem is my top jaw. My friends said that wearing braces is annoying, uncomfortable and painful. therefore, I became very frightened, and turned into a coward-_- *sigh*  But like it or not, I have to deal with it.

After 2 hours passed, I officially wearing braces. My gums are still numb due to anesthesia given by the  dentist. She said, the pain will be felt the next day, aannnndd the next day, I could felt a sense of trembling in my mouth. No pain, but a sense of vibrating the teeth. Pfffttt...
Until now, the sense is still there, especially when eating, I found it hard to chew and bite food, but this is the price that must be paid rite? someone told me that "beauty is pain" and I think, this is worth suffering for. I reminding my self over and over, everything is gonna be okay, 'cause this too shall pass :)

The gurl with braces :D

Blue Sky Collapse

So, one of some good music I heard lately is Blue Sky Collapse by Adhitia Sofyan. The reason why I love this song is, because it's lyric, which is so touching! I highly recommend this song <3

As I walk to the end of the line
I wonder if I should look back
To all of the things that were said and done
I think we should talk it over

Then I noticed the sign on your back
It boldly says try to walk away

I go on pretending I'll be ok
This morning it hits me hard that

Still everyday I think about you
I know for a fact that's not your problem
But if you change your mind you'll find me
Hanging on to the place
Where the big blue sky collapse

As I stare at the wall in this room
The cracks they resemble your shadow
When everyday I see time goes by
In my head everything stood still

I'm waiting for things to unfreeze
Till you release me from the ice block
It's been floating for ages washed up by the sea
And it's drowning, thought you should know that

You see people are trying
To find their way back home
So I'll find my way to you

16 Oct 2012

First.

So, umm..
This is my second blog actually. I made this blog around 3weeks or 1 month ago.
My IT teacher, asked me to make a new blog. So here it is!
There's so much things to do here, yep I know.
But unfortunatelly, school tasks (as usual) seize my time.
I wonder when will teachers get bored to give us homeworks-_-
and I wonder if teachers will accept “I didn't do my homework because my dog ate it"
and now, I don't know what to say. pffftttt
I'll post somethin' way more interesting than this-random-introduction-post as soon as possible :)
Cheerio!
